Особливості дистанційного навчання іншомовному спілкуванню студентів нефілологічних спеціальностей

Abstract

Статтю присвячено дослідженню особливостей та обґрунтуванню принципів, методів та форм реалізації дистанційного навчання іноземних мов студентів нефілологічних спеціальностей. Розкрито роль застосування комп’ютерних технологій у процесі розвитку іншомовної комунікативної компетенції. Проаналізовано цілі та завдання дистанційного навчання іншомовного спілкування студентів нефілологічних спеціальностей із використанням комп’ютерних та телекомунікаційних технологій. Особливу увагу звернено на системний підхід до методики дистанційного навчання іншомовному спілкуванню студентів нефілологічних спеціальностей, який дає можливість розглядати його принципи на методико-технологічному, системно-інтеграційному та концептуально-стратегічному рівнях. Установлено, що на методико-технологічному рівні розробляються принципи опанування окремих аспектів іноземної мови та видів мовленнєвої діяльності, визначаються стратегії та прийоми формування умінь і навичок за допомогою інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій; на системно-інтеграційному рівні синтезуються технології та методи навчання у межах одного електронного освітнього середовища; на концептуально-стратегічному рівні відбувається адаптація наявних програм з іноземних мов до нових технологічних умов. Реалізація цих принципів уможливлює створення універсального освітнього середовища для вивчення іноземної мови. Розроблено вимоги щодо організації безперервної навчальної інформаційної взаємодії в процесі дистанційного навчання іноземній мові. Досліджено модульну технологію навчання як одну з інноваційних освітніх технологій дистанційного навчання. З’ясовано, що модульна програма складається з блоків, які формуються з набору модулів, які складаються з тем навчального матеріалу, об’єднаних однією тематикою та призначених для вивчення студентами з різним рівнем знань. Кожен модуль складається з таких розділів, як глосарій, читання, аудіювання, письмо, говоріння та додатковий матеріал. Доведено, що ефективність дистанційного навчання іншомовного спілкування полягає ще й у його потенціалі для саморозвитку особистості та відповідності принципам особистісно орієнтованого підходу в освіті. Проаналізовано переваги та недоліки технологій дистанційного навчання іншомовного спілкування.

The article is devoted to the study of features and grounding of principles, methods and forms of distance learning of foreign languages for the students of nonphilological specialties. The role of application of computer technologies in the process of development of foreign language communicative competence has been revealed. The goals and objectives of distance learning of foreign language for the students of non-philological specialties with the use of computer and telecommunications have been analysed. Particular attention is paid to the systematic approach to the methodology of distance learning of foreign language for the students of non-philological specialties, which allows considering its principles at methodological and technological, systemic and integrational, conceptual and strategic levels. It has been found that at the methodological and technological level the principles of mastering certain aspects of a foreign language and types of speech activity are developed, strategies and methods of forming skills with the help of information and communication technologies are determined. Technologies and teaching methods are synthesized within one electronic educational environment at the systemic and integrational level. Existing foreign language programs are being adapted to new technological conditions at the conceptual and strategic level. The implementation of these principles makes it possible to create a universal educational environment for learning a foreign language. Requirements for the organization of continuous educational information interaction in the process of distance learning of a foreign language have been developed. Modular learning technology as one of the innovative educational technologies of distance learning has been studied. It was found that the modular program consists of blocks, which are formed from a set of modules, and the modules consist of topics of educational material, united by one theme and designed for students with different levels of knowledge. Each module consists of the following sections: glossary, reading material, listening material, writing material, tasks for speaking and additional material. The advantages and disadvantages of distance learning technologies have been analysed.
