The dynamical development of biomedical technologies, digital medicine, artificial intelligence, bioethics, and global health challenges necessitates the continuous renewal of the forms and content of humanities training for future medical and pharmaceutical professionals. Such renewal should be grounded in the interdisciplinary international dialogue among philosophers, bioethicists, physicians, pharmacists, and researchers in the medical humanities. The Department of Social Studies at Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University possesses extensive experience in fostering international scholarly communication in the fields of the philosophy of medicine, medical ethics, and deontology. The purpose of this article is to summarize this experience, analyze the key aspects of organizing the annual international scientific and practical conference «Socio-ethical and Deontological Problems of Contemporary Medicine», and identify prospects for the further improvement of this activity. The analysis of key trends and problems in the development of contemporary medical education presented in this article leads to the conclusion that there is a need to organically integrate fundamental professional training with a humanistic understanding of the latest biomedical, technological, and sociocultural challenges. That is why international scientific communication is becoming a key factor in updating the teaching content of the philosophy of medicine, medical ethics, and deontology, as it provides direct access to cutting-edge scientific approaches, interdisciplinary research, and global best practices in education. The experience of the Department of Social Studies at Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University in organizing the annual international scientific and practical conference «Socio-Ethical and Deontological Issues in Contemporary Medicine» demonstrates that the event has become an effective platform for professional dialogue among Ukrainian and international scholars; for discussing pressing issues in the philosophy of medicine, bioethics, medical education, clinical practice, and medical law, and for integrating Ukrainian medical humanities into the global academic community. Future development should focus on expanding international cooperation and engaging leading global experts in the philosophy of medicine, bioethics, digital medicine, artificial intelligence, and medical law. This will facilitate the integration of Ukrainian medical humanities into the European and global scientific and educational landscape and foster a new culture of professional responsibility among medical practitioners.uk_UA
