Інтернет ресурси як ефективне лінгводидактичне джерело: оглядовий аналіз

Abstract

У статті розглядається специфіка звернення до доступних Інтернет ресурсів, їх використання як у групових аудиторних, індивідуальних заняттях з англійської мови, так й для самостійної роботи по вдосконаленню навичок письма, прослуховування англомовних текстів. Наводяться приклади та аналізується специфіка окремих корисних для навчання та викладання англійської лексики та граматики мережевих ресурсів. Добірка орієнтована, з одного боку, на дітей старшого шкільного віку та на студентів, які бажають підвищити рівень своєї мовної підготовки, а іншого боку, - на вчителів та викладачів англійської мови, які зацікавлені у тому, щоб зробити процес навчання ефективнішим та більш сучасним. Дібрані ресурси розділені на групи, відповідно до тих навичок, на розвиток та удосконалення яких, вони направлені.

This article deals with the Internet resources that can be used for effective learning and teaching English. Nowadays, modern technologies have already become an inseparable part of the pupils and students’ reality. They use them everywhere preferably for communication and playing games but not for learning or strengthening knowledge. So teachers are able to recommend their students to deal with these devices in studying for practicing new vocabulary, fastening grammatical rules, and developing listening abilities. In the article we offer the sites where both students and teachers may find out creative and catching exercises, brain games, and the other marvelous activities. They all should make the process of studying grammar, phonetics and vocabulary faster, more interesting, and more modern. The sites presented in the paper have been tested for a long time at group and individual English lessons. And we have got positive outcome. All the resources given here are free and easy-to-use. The paper not only enumerates the handy services but also describes their operating peculiarities, gives practical advices how to use their tests and exercises, what skills to train on each site and with which tasks. We pointed out even the age levels of the students whom those services are suitable to. Selected resources are divided due to the skills they are oriented to develop or fasten. To fasten knowledge of English grammar it is preferable to deal with www.e-grammar.org. But it is not for those who have elementary knowledge of English. To deal with it a student should be at least at the secondary language level.
