Роль міжнародних стажувань у процесі засвоєння дисциплін професійної підготовки здобувачами вищої освіти спеціальності «Туризм»

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано роль міжнародних стажувань у засвоєнні дисциплін професійної підготовки здобувачами вищої освіти спеціальності «Туризм». Для майбутніх фахівців сфери гостинності вкрай важливою передумовою засвоєння освітніх компонент професійної підготовки є участь у міжнародних професійних стажуваннях за фахом. Це пов’язано не лише з тенденціями інтернаціоналізації освіти, а й із можливістю здобути професійні знання і навички, покращити рівень володіння іноземними мовами, підвищити конкурентоспроможність як на вітчизняному ринку праці, так і на закордонному. Обов’язковою вимогою участі здобувачів вищої освіти в міжнародних стажуваннях є не лише володіння комунікативними навичками, а й здатність на високому рівні спілкуватися іноземними мовами, що перевіряється майбутніми роботодавцями під час співбесіди. Зауважимо, що деякі заклади вищої освіти дають можливість здобувачам, що навчаються за спеціальністю «Туризм», брати участь у міжнародних стажуваннях у таких країнах, як Туреччина, Болгарія, Німеччина, Словаччина, Об’єднані Арабські Емірати тощо. Тривалість таких міжнародних стажувань становить, як правило, від двох-трьох (Німеччина і Болгарія) і п’яти-шести місяців (Туреччина). Водночас для підготовки здобувачів до міжнародних професійних стажувань у закладах вищої освіти все частіше виникає потреба в коригуванні навчальних планів для поглибленого вивчення дисциплін «Іноземна мова (за професійним спрямуванням)» та «Друга іноземна мова (за професійним спрямуванням)», починаючи з першого курсу, а також започаткування додаткових курсів вивчення іноземних мов із можливістю перезарахування результатів навчання, здобутих під час неформальної освіти. Це пов’язано з необхідністю фахівців сфери обслуговування виконувати професійні завдання під час міжнародних професійних стажувань, для чого необхідні відповідні знання, вміння і навички.

The article analyzes the role of international internships in mastering the disciplines of professional training by applicants for higher education in the specialty “Tourism”. For future professionals in the field of hospitality, an extremely important prerequisite for mastering the educational components of professional training is participation in international professional internships. This is due not only to the tendency to internationalize education, but also to the opportunity to acquire professional knowledge and skills, improve the level of foreign language proficiency, increase competitiveness in both domestic and foreign labor markets. A mandatory requirement for the participation of higher education students in international internships is not only the possession of communication skills, but also the ability to communicate at a high level in foreign languages, which is tested by future employers during the interview. It should be noted that some higher education institutions provide opportunities for applicants majoring in “Tourism” to participate in international internships, especially in countries such as Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, etc. The duration of such international internships is usually two to three months in countries such as Germany and Bulgaria, and five to six months in Turkey. At the same time, in order to prepare applicants for international professional internships in higher education institutions, there is an increasing need to adjust curricula for in-depth study of the disciplines “Foreign language (professional)” and “Second foreign language (professional)”, starting from the first year, and also the introduction of additional courses in foreign languages with the possibility of recalculating learning outcomes obtained during non-formal education. This is primarily due to the need for service professionals to perform professional tasks during international professional internships, which requires appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities.
