Інноваційні методики викладання іанглійської мови у ЗВО

Abstract

Викладання іноземних мов, особливо англійської як lingua franca міжкультурної комунікації в сучасну епоху, у навчальних закладах пов’язане зі створенням інноваційної освітньої парадигми. Отж е, інноваційних методик викладання інозе мної мови в структурі освоєння освітньо-про фесійних програм, котрі надалі дадуть змогу здобувачеві знайти себе професійно у світі цифрової епохи. Мета статті – категоризувати уявлення просучасну парадигму викладанняіноземних мов та здійснити стислийінфо рмаційно-оглядовий аналіз інноваційних методик викладання англійської мови у ЗВО. Інноваційні підходи відзначають наступний бажаний вищий рівень у модернізації освітніх стратегій ЗВО, щобможна було активізувати повний потенціал здібностей студента тазаох очувати прагнення донезалежності та оригінальності, до конкуренції, до пошуку новизни та кращої формивзаємодії на заняттях з іноземної мови. Важливою є відповідність методик викладання іноземної мови критеріям безперервної освіти, освіти впродовж життя. Тобто новаторський підхід передбачає також мінімізація ролі викладача та навчання студентів умінню вчитися самостійно (особливо в контексті збільшення годин на самостійну роботу в навчальних планах студентів). Інноваційними методами навчання англійськ ої мови визначено перехресне навчання, навчання через аргументацію, випадкове навчання, наукоємне дослідницьке навчання, втілене навчання. Структуровано також принципи інноваційних методик. Окремо увагу приділено «інтегрованому навчанню змісту та мови» (content and language integrated learning method). Йогорозглянуто в контексті оновлених ліцензійних вимог до викладацької діяльності. Відзначено роль цифрових технологій, аудіо- та відеозасобів,потенціал методів мозкового штурму, раціонально й творчо організованої позааудиторної діяльності, пов’язаної з формуванням і використанням іншомовних компетенцій, рольової (ділової) гри, головоломок, проєктної діяльності, роботи в групах тощо. Подальші дослідження з теми рекомендовано продовжити в емпіричному ключі з метоювизначення доказової ефективності розглянутих інноваційних методиксаме в контексті освіти в українських ЗВО.

Teaching foreign languages, especially English as a lingua franca of intercultural communication in the modern era, in educational institutions is connected with the creation of an innovative educational paradigm. Therefore, innovative methods of teaching a foreign language in the structure of mastering educational and professional programs, which will further enable the student to find himself professionally in the world of the digital age. The purpose of the article is to categorize ideas about the modern paradigm of teaching foreign languages and to carry out a concise informational and overview analysis of innovative methods of teaching English in higher education institutions. Innovative approaches mark the next desired higher level in the modernization of educational strategies of higher education institutions, so that it is possible to activate the full potential of the student's abilities and encourage the desire for independence and originality, for competition, for the search for novelty and a better form of interaction in foreign language classes. It is important that the methods of teaching a foreign language meet the criteria of continuous education, lifelong education. That is, the innovative approach also involves minimizing the role of the teacher and teaching students the ability to learn independently (especially in the context of increasing hours for independent work in students' curricula). Innovative methods of teaching the English language are defined as crossover learning, learning through argumentation, incidental learning, learning by doing science, embodied learning. The principles of innovative methods are also structured. Separate attention is paid to "contentand language integrated learning method". It was considered in the context of updated licensing requirements for teaching activities. The role of digital technologies, audio and video tools, the potential of brainstorming methods, rationally and creatively organized extracurricular activities related to theformation and use of foreign language competences, role-playing (business) games, puzzles, project activities, group work, etc. are noted. It is recommended to continue further research on the topic in an empirical way in order to determine the proven effectiveness of the considered innovative methods in the context of education in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
