When reconstructing the mechanism of a traffic accident involving two-wheeled vehicles, there is a serious gap in determining the cause effect relationship between the actions of motorcyclists and the traffic accident itself, in particular, the problem arises of correctly conducting an examination of the technical condition of the motorcycle, which significantly affects the quality and volume of research, resulting in incompleteness and inferiority of research. The objective - to identify features of the study of the technical condition of the motorcycle during the examination; identify the problem of the correct examination motorcycle technical condition, which significantly affects the quality and volume of research, resulting in incompleteness and inferiority of the study; to solve the most common questions regarding research of the intended examinations of the vehicles technical condition.
