Засоби формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності фахівців сфери обслуговування

Abstract

У статті представлені теоретичні та практичні засади розвитку іншомовної комунікативної компетентності майбутніх фахівців сфери обслуговування (спеціальностей «Туризм» і «Готельно-ресторанна справа»). Основною умовою успішного розвитку іншомовної комунікативної компетентності є створення поведінкових моделей під час занять з іноземної мови, виконання завдань, наближених до щоденних професійних ситуацій, спрямованих на вирішення проблем міжкультурного спілкування. Вивчення іноземних мов має особливе значення в системі професійної підготовки, оскільки майбутні фахівці сфери обслуговування готуються до комунікації іноземними мовами в міжкультурному середовищі. Основним завданням професійної підготовки фахівців сфери обслуговування є створення педагогічних умов, націлених на успішне формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності, що уможливить досягнення вільної професійної міжкультурної комунікації із зарубіжними партнерами та клієнтами. У процесі вивчення іноземних мов застосовуються як традиційні, так й інноваційні методи навчання. До традиційних належать лекції, семінарські та практичні заняття, а також самостійна робота студентів, до інноваційних – інтерактивні лекції, проблемне навчання, ситуативне навчання, ділові ігри, семінари-диспути, проектування, моделювання тощо. Основним недоліком традиційних методів можна визначити репродуктивний характер набутих знань і навичок. Застосування методу проблемного навчання створює передумови для формування стійких комунікативномовленнєвих умов і навичок, розвитку проблемного мислення у майбутніх фахівців, уміння правильної побудови комунікативних ситуацій. Визначальну роль у процесі вивчення іноземних мов відіграє комбінування інноваційних і традиційних технологій навчання: моделювання комунікативних ситуацій, створення ситуацій, застосування ділових ігор, написання есе або доповідей тощо.

The article presents theoretical and practical principles of the development of the foreign language communicative competence of future specialists in the service sector (specialties “Tourism” and “Hotel and Restaurant business”). The basic condition for the successful development of the foreign language communicative competence is the creation of be-havioral models during foreign language lessons, the fulfillment of tasks that are close to daily professional situations, aimed at solving problems of cross-cultural communication.Foreign language learning is of particular importance in the vocational training system as future service professionals prepare to communicate in foreign languages in a multicultural environment. The main task of professional training of service industry professionals is to create pedagogical conditions aimed at the successful formation of foreign-language communicative competence, which will make it possible to achieve free professional intercultural communication with foreign partners and clients. In the process of learning foreign languages both traditional and innovative teaching methods are used. The traditional ones include lectures, seminars and practical classes, as well as students’ independent work, innovative ones include interactive lectures, problem-based learning, situational training, business games, seminars, debates, design, modeling and others. The reproductive pattern of the acquired knowledge and skills can be determined as the main drawback of traditional methods.The application of the problem learning method creates the preconditions for the formation of stable communication and speech conditions and skills, the development of problem thinking in future specialists, the ability to construct communicative situations properly. The decisive role in the process of learning foreign languages belongs to the combination of traditional and innovative teaching methods: the creation of communicative situations, application of business games, writing of essays or reports, etc.
