Ботанічна ілюстрація як специфічний жанр прикладної графіки та мистецтва

Abstract

У статті окреслено особливості ботанічної ілюстрації як специфічного жанру прикладної графіки та мистецтва. Проведено аналіз літератури та виявлено, що ботанічне мистецтво активно відроджується на теренах України та світу, проте наявні результати та специфіка жанру показують потребу у додат- кових дослідженнях ботанічної ілюстрації саме з огляду дизайну та мистецтва. Показано виявлені важливі відмінності ботанічної ілюстрації від ботанічного мистецтва та квітко- вого живопису, які продемонстровані на прикладах. Виокремлено технічну точність у роботі ботанічного ілюстратора як невід’ємну складову для розрізнення кордонів між ілюстрацією та самим мистецтвом. У процесі дослідження з’ясовано, що ботанічна ілюстрація може бути використана для дизайн-проєк- тування як жанр прикладної графіки, враховуючи сучасні методи, засоби. Крім того, визначено додатковий метод створення цифрової ботанічної ілюстрації за допомогою комп’ютерних технологій. Виявлено, що ботанічна ілюстрація становить не лише наукову та мистецьку цінність, а навіть являє собою потужний інформаційний засіб для всебічного оголошення екологічних, суспільно-політичних про- блем через проєкти дизайну та мистецтва. Загалом визначено, що завдяки роботі з ботанічним мистецтвом, ілюстратор має змогу отримати велику кількість навичок та вмінь – дослідника, відкривача, науковця, творця об`єктів дизайну і мистецтва.

The article outlines the special features of botanical illustration as a specific genre of applied graphics and art. An analysis of the literature has conducted and it has found that botanical art is actively reviving in Ukraine and the world, however, the available results and the specifics of the genre show the need for additional studies of botanical illustration specifically from the point of view of design and art. The article shows the important differences between botanical illustration and botanical art and flower painting, which have demonstrated by examples. It has singled out the technical accuracy in work of a botanical illustrator as an integral component for differentiation the bound between illustration and art itself. In the process of research, it has found that botanical illustration could be used for design engineering as a genre of applied graphics, taking into account modern methods and tools. Besides, it has defined an extra method of creating digital botanical illustration using computer technologies. It has found that botanical illustration has not only of scientific and artistic value, but it is even the powerful information tool for the comprehensive announcement of environmental, socio-political problems through design and art projects. In general, it has defined that thanks to work with botanical art, an illustrator can acquire a large number of skills and abilities – researcher, discoverer, scientist, creator of objects of design and art.
