Іван Мірчук і надбання української філософської культури

Abstract

Актуалізація проблематики творчості видатного українського філософа, емігранта й патріота І. Мірчука та її переосмислення сприяє віднайденню і новому прочитанню імен істориків, публіцистів, громадських діячів та письменників, які раніше були замовчані або недооцінені в Україні, та введенню їх до сучасного культурного простору. Науковцем досліджено особливості слов’янського і, зокрема, українського світогляду та ментальності, які визначили специфіку української філософської культури. Його суспільно-політичні погляди та уявлення про місце української держави у світовій історії як лідера слов’янських народів сприяють розумінню відмінних та спільних рис у менталітеті різних слов’янських народів, що допоможе уникнути зовнішньополітичних конфліктів і протиріч між ними.

The updating of the problems of the work of the outstanding Ukrainian philosopher, emigrant and patriot I. Mirchuk and its reinterpretation contributes to the discovery and new reading of the names of historians, publicists, public figures and writers who have been previously silenced or underestimated in Ukraine, and their introduction to the modern cultural space. The scientist has investigated the peculiarities of the Slavic and, in particular, the Ukrainian worldview and mentality, which determine the specificity of the Ukrainian philosophical culture. His socio-political views and ideas about the place of the Ukrainian state in world history as the leader of the Slavic peoples contribute to the understanding of distinctive and common features in the mentality of various Slavic peoples, which will help to avoid foreign policy conflicts and contradictions between them.
