Abstract: The purpose of this work is to develop a gas flow regulator (GFR) based on standard components from SMC. The problem is that existing integrated GFRs on the market are expensive, whereas the components for assembling them (flow meters and proportional valves) are available, but SMC does not offer a ready-made controller. This work proposes the creation of a modular control system with feedback, consisting of a flow meter (PF2A/PFM), a proportional valve (VEF), and a programmable logic controller (PLC). A mathematical model of the system was developed in Simulink, and a physical prototype was built based on a Mitsubishi PLC. A control algorithm was developed and implemented in Ladder Diagram language, ensuring precise maintenance of the set gas flow by compensating for changes in inlet pressure. Experimental studies confirmed the system's functionality and accuracy
