Двомовна модель сучасної шкільної освіти

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано переваги та недоліки білінгвальних програм навчання школярів. Розглянуто освітній ландшафт для двомовних шкіл, громад, міст і країн багатомовного світу, двомовні моделі навчання на основі світового досвіду та сучасних підходів до білінгвальної шкільної освіти. Запропоновано дотримання сильної двомовної моделі, яка містить багато типів двомовних програм, що можуть застосовуватися для задоволення потреб меншин.

Along with the rapid development of globalization, communication between people of different nationalities and backgrounds, speaking different languages, is increasingly becoming a twenty-first century challenge. Accordingly, the development of bilingual education is of particular relevance. Modern Ukraine considers it extremely important to study and solve problems related to bilingualism, which are not only linguistic but also social, political and cultural. Mass bilingualism, deformation of the language situation, language conflicts can have negative consequences, in particular, the loss of social consolidation, the development of dangerous assimilation processes, both in linguistic and nationalcultural aspects.
