Honoring of Vasyl Symonenko’s memory as a component of patriotic education: in Cherkasy region (1991–2001 рр.)

Abstract

Стаття присвячена вшануванню пам’яті видатного українського поета та журналіста В. А. Симоненка в Черкаській області у 1991–2001 рр. Висвітлено, як вшановують пам’ять свого земляка друзі, колеги та мешканці Черкащини, як це виховує патріотизм та сприяє утвердженню національної ідентичності ГУМАНIТАРНИЙ ВIСНИК. Число 31. Вип. 15 62 українців. На основі застосування загальнонаукових методів (аналіз, синтез, опис, пояснення) була досягнута мета та реалізовані заплановані завдання. Матеріали статті можуть бути корисними для подальшого вивчення історії України та історії української культури.

The article is devoted to the honoring the memory of the prominent Ukrainian poet and journalist V. A. Symonenko in Cherkasy region in 1991–2001. The goal of the article is to show that the honoring the memory of the representative of the Ukrainian creative intelligentsia is the basis of the patriotic education of Ukrainians. The direct task is to find out how friends, colleagues and inhabitants of Cherkashchyna honor the memory of their countryman, how it educates the patriotism and assists the strengthening of the national identity of Ukrainians. On the basis of the appliance of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, description, explanation) the goal has been achieved and planned tasks have been realized. The article can be useful for further study of the history of Ukraine and the history of Ukrainian culture
