Конкурентоспроможність країни як предмет дискусій у сучасній науц

Abstract

Метою роботи є дослідження змісту конкурентоспроможності країни у сучасній науці та виявлення напрямів його трансформації під впливом COVID-19. Для реалізації поставленої мети використано методи структурно-логічного аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення. Результатом наукового дослідження є встановлення сучасних аспектів у сприйнятті конкурентоспроможності країни під впливом пандемії COVID-19: економічна стійкість, співпраця та соціальний добробут. Наукова новизна дослідження полягає у вдосконаленні системи рушіїв конкурентоспроможності країни: підвищення рівня освіти, професійного навчання; сприяння науковим розробкам та дослідженням, інноваційній діяльності; потужна система охорони здоров’я; зростання частки високотехнологічної продукції у внутрішньому виробництві та в експорті; диверсифікація промислового виробництва; розвиток міжнародної співпраці, кооперації та інтеграції; досягнення фінансової стійкості країни до потрясінь та шоків. Практична значимість дослідження визначається подальшою розробкою відповідних заходів державної політики, які здатні вплинути на досягнення конкурентоспроможності України під впливом пандемії COVID-19.

The aim of the work is to study the content of the country's competitiveness in modern science and identify areas for its transformation under the influence of COVID-19. To achieve this goal, methods of structural and logical analysis, synthesis, generalization have been used. The result of the research is the establishment of modern aspects in the perception of the country's competitiveness under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic: economic stability, cooperation and social welfare. The following determinants of countries' competitiveness have been formed: the desire to remain in the developed center of the world economy or to catch up with more developed countries, i.e. to maintain or improve their position in the world economy; increase of the share of non-renewable sources of energy resources, products, services and factors of production in world markets; emphasis on social indicators, not only economic ones – GDP and exports; ability to recover the economy, its resilience to shocks, due to innovation and high technology, diversification of industrial production, and they, in turn, by education, skills and education system, health care system in the country, the ability to international cooperation and integration. The scientific novelty of the study is to improve the system of the following drivers of the country's competitiveness: rise in the level of education, vocational training; promotion of scientific development and research, innovation activities; powerful health care system; growth of the share of high-tech products in domestic production and exports; diversification of industrial production; development of international cooperation and integration; achievement of financial stability of the country to shocks. The practical significance of the study is determined by the further development of appropriate public policy measures that can affect the achievement of Ukraine's competitiveness under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
