Михайло Сирота у спогадах українських політиків і активних учасників національно-демократичних процесів в Україні

Abstract

У статті, на основі опрацювання літератури та джерел, розкриваються сторінки життєпису Михайла Дмитровича Сироти, його внесок у розбудову української державності, зокрема в роботу Конституційної комісії та прийняття Основного Закону у 1996 році. Авторські тексти політика, його інтерв’ю, документи і спогади сучасників можуть слугувати активним поштовхом до переосмислення в історичному сенсі феномена народного визнання Михайла Сироти як «батька української Конституції» та його внеску у становлення незалежної України.

The latest approaches to historical description of the state formation of Ukraine require the revision and unbiased coverage of the personalities of active participants in democratic transformations in Ukraine in the context of significant events of the 80-90s of the last century. The article, based on the study of literature and sources, by comparing and analyzing the documents, records and memoirs of biographical data of M. D. Syrota and facts from his socio-political activities reveals the pages of the biography of Mykhaylo Dmytrovych Syrota, his contribution to Ukrainian statehood, in particular in the work of the Constitutional Commission and the adoption of the Basic Law of Ukraine in 1996. The author's texts of the politician, his interviews, documents and memories of contemporaries make it possible to generalize and rethink in the historical sense the phenomenon of popular recognition of Mykhailo Syrota as the "father of the Ukrainian Constitution" and his contribution to the formation of independent Ukraine.
